Strala Dining Table

In part inspired by the architecture of the tree, and like a tree, the table is not supported by parallel elements, but by ìbranchesî met at non-typical angles.

Counting the number of pieces, and more importantly, the number of joints which all needed to match perfectly, the designed Tom Strala took up the challenge to build this non-typical table.

With local wood, and without any metal components, the Strala table came together in his shop just in time for the 2011 ICFF. Lightness and elegance is undeniable and so is the workmanship, not only a great functional design, but also a collectorís piece. Solid white oak.
